Introducing Backup Squad™, our first children’s shield backpack.
Originally engineered as our adult crossbody Power Bag, we redesigned and adapted it into a compact backpack after strong demand from parents who wanted the same protection platform for their children.
Two key modifications were made:
• The holster compartment was completely removed.
• Dedicated children’s backpack shoulder straps were added for proper ergonomic wear.
These changes were made while preserving the exact same ballistic core and deployment system as our adult version.
At first glance, it’s a normal small backpack.
In reality, it deploys into a full protective shield.
Despite its compact size, it’s incredibly effective — powered by our patented side-zipper system and smart structural design.
Level IIIA certified.
Stops handgun threats up to .44 Magnum, including 9mm FMJ.
Deployment remains identical to our adult Power Bags:
• 0.5 seconds (High-Stress Mode)
• 1.3 seconds (Relaxed Mode)
When deployed, it covers the average 5- or 6-year-old from the knees all the way up to cover the head completely also.
